Memorandum Of Understanding

Cochin University of Science and Technology signed an MoU with Kerala Police Academy (KEPA) under the initiative of the Department of Computer Applications. The objective of the MoU is to promote scientific and cultural cooperation between Kerala Police Academy and Cochin University of Science and Technology. KEPA had identified the Department as their potential collaborator and under this collaboration, discussions were conducted, workshops were organized, students were given internships at KEPA, and seat reservation was done for KEPA people in the MSC Computer Science with specialization in Data Science program run by the Department.

The intention of the Parties is to engage in research work on blockchain security in publicly available information and define processes or approaches to enhance the security of blockchain components. The outcome of the research work will be whitepapers that provide an overview of measures to enhance blockchain security(“Initiative”).

UTH and CUSAT wish to promote cooperation between the two institutions in education and in academic research; therefore, they agree to cooperate in the following areas: Joint research, Joint proposal submission, Dissemination of results, Exchange of staff, and Any other relevant activity.
