Dr. Vishnukumar S.
Dr.Vishnukumar S, is currently working as Associate Professor, Department of Computer Applications, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT), Kochi. He is also the Chairman of IEEE Computer Society Kerala Chapter. Prior to joining CUSAT, he had been working as Head of Department, Department of Computer Engineering, Govt. Polytechnic College, Nedumkandam, Idukki. He received B.Tech. in Information Technology, M.Tech. in Computer Science with specialization in Digital Image Computing and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Kerala. He has been actively associating with Computer Society of India and he has served Computer Society of India Trivandrum Chapter in various capacities as Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary and Treasurer. He was the Executive Committee Member of Kerala State IT Mission, Department of Information Technology, Government of Kerala. He is a senior member of IEEE and Life member of Institution of Engineers (IE), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and International association of Engineers (IAENG). He has been a resource person in many technical workshops and conferences. He has published numerous research papers in peer reviewed National and International Journals and Conferences. He is a reviewer of many reputed International Journals and is serving as programme committee member in International Conferences. His area of interest include Digital image Processing, Data Analytics, Fuzzy Techniques, Machine Learning and Deep Learning.
