Dr. Arun K S

Dr Arun K S is currently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Applications at Cochin University of Science and Technology, Cochin, Kerala. He was a postdoctoral researcher at McGill University, Canada, where he worked on the integration of space-based observations using machine learning approaches in support of climate change and sustainability research for cold regions, a project funded by Canadian Space Agency. He obtained his PhD in Computer Science and Engineering from National Institute of Technology Calicut in the year 2018. He has received his MTech from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore (2009) and BTech from Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam (2006). His research interests include Computer Vision, Image Processing and Bioinformatics.
