Kannan Balakrishnan received his Ph.D. in Futures Studies with a specialization in Graph Algorithms from the University of Kerala. He is a Professor of the Department of Computer Applications, CUSAT, and his research interests include algorithms, graph theory, machine intelligence, image processing, complex networks. He is the author of many research studies published at national and international journals as well as conference proceedings.
